This is, perhaps, the only instance of an entity other than an airline or a military service having something other than the registration number of the airplane as the call sign.

One example is Norwegian. They use the callsign "Nor Shuttle" (and a few others), probably because the callsign "Norwegian" was already in use - by the Norwegian Air Force.
